The email gateway cat command works almost identically to its command-line counterpart; simply send the gateway a message with a subject line of "cat (template-name) (issue-name) and you should get the response momentarily. In the following example, the user has set up a yaktrack repository under a special user name ("yaktrack") which forwards all incoming mail to the email gateway:
[vputz@yak_prime temp]$ mail yaktrack Subject: cat defect defect2 (presses control-D to terminate message) Cc: (presses return) Null message body; hope that's ok [vputz@yak_prime temp]$ mail Mail version 8.1 6/6/93. Type ? for help.
